Eclette is the studio practice of Perth artist Penny Brooshooft, creating sculptural wall art, vessels and objects made from recycled cardboard and paper using a material called Cardcrete. The works explore texture, erosion and architectural surfaces that sit between painting and sculpture.

"My work is driven by a practical concern for waste and a desire to create meaningful objects with a lighter environmental impact. My medium of choice if Cardcrete — which I make from scratch with locally collected waste. It has a clay-like quality that allows me to build vessels, sculptural forms and wall pieces with texture and physical presence."
