Poseidon in Seaglass takes inspiration from the lobster Wembley Ware china plates.
I fell head over heels for the kitschy charm of Wembley Ware’s lobster plates. The kitschness of the red lobster sitting on a lustreware cabbage leaf drew me in for its weird uniqueness that was also incredibly beautiful, and ignited a passion I never knew I could have for vintage china. This obsession led me to create my own interpretation using my sustainable Cardcrete medium, which I make from scratch using 100% recycled cardboard and paper.
